The Butchers' Bridge looking over the Ljubljanica river towards the Trznica (market) and the Dragon Bridge in Ljubljana, Slovenia. The wire fence on the bridge is covered with padlocks put there by couples, locals and tourists, to symbolise their love for each other. The key to the padlock is then thrown in the Ljubljanica River. All this region was designed by Slovenia's most celebrated architect, Joze Plecnik.
I am a writer and photographer from the UK. My photography was born from my desire to travel to exotic countries. A four-month journey around Mexico then filled me with the desire to capture the wonderful life and scenery that had filled my eyes and fuelled my imagination. So I decided to invest in my first SLR and start to learn how to take better photos. The rest, as they say, is history.
