A lonely dark tree waits for the sun as it rises behind some trees and begins to illuminate the rest of the landscape on the Ljubljana Marshland (Ljubljansko Barje), a large area of wetland 160 square kilometres in size.
About Ian Middleton
I am a writer and photographer from the UK. My photography was born from my desire to travel to exotic countries. A four-month journey around Mexico then filled me with the desire to capture the wonderful life and scenery that had filled my eyes and fuelled my imagination. So I decided to invest in my first SLR and start to learn how to take better photos. The rest, as they say, is history.
