Twilight winter view across a hill in prezganje in the Jance hills to the east of Ljubljana, Slovenia. Footprints are leading up to a shrine. The shrine is to Jesus Christ, built to commemorate the first visit of Pope John Paul the second to Slovenia in 1996.

I am a writer and photographer from the UK. My photography was born from my desire to travel to exotic countries. A four-month journey around Mexico then filled me with the desire to capture the wonderful life and scenery that had filled my eyes and fuelled my imagination. So I decided to invest in my first SLR and start to learn how to take better photos. The rest, as they say, is history.
